About me
Hi I'm Phil,
I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) & I have been fully CRB checked for your peace of mind. I am passionate about road safety and I promote ‘Safe Driving for Life’.
I live in Great Glen with my lovely wife Sarah & have been married for 6 years.
I have lived in various places in Leicester all my life and I have always worked in Customer Service roles ranging from Retail Management to Call Centre & Resource Analyst posts since 1987, (makes me sound really ancient!!)
I decided to become a Driving Instructor because I love the fact that everyday brings a new face & with it, a brand new challenge. Every new driver is different from the next so my day is always full of variety. The feeling I get from teaching somebody a new life-long skill is like no other & to see somebody pass their driving test is just FANTASTIC!
I have always loved driving since I passed my test in 1988 and I want to give all of my pupils the opportunity to gain their own independence & ultimately, change their lives forever!
I have been told that I have a ‘calming influence’ which helps me to conduct my lessons in a relaxed and friendly manner, making pupils feel at ease right from the start. I am a firm believer in having fun at work, so my aim is to make lessons as enjoyable and as productive as possible with some laughs along the way!
I was trained by LDC in the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured that the training I give will be of the highest standard.
I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LDC system allows for greater flexibility in my lessons so that you can learn to drive safely and at a rate that best suits you. The Workbook & DVD system helps me to do this far more effectively.
